APPLIANCES

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

While our clients were remodeling their home,  they added a commercial size stove to their kitchen & needed a range hood to go with it.  We built a frame for the hood out of 1" by 1" mild steel tubing.  Next, we covered the frame with brushed stainless steel.  The knobs & accessories in their kitchen were all satin brass so we incorporated that into the design by sandblasting the brass to give it a satin finish. We then placed the brass on top of panels of mirror plated stainless steel for an extra pop of shine.  Lastly, we covered the holes of the countersunk allen bolts with crystals for a touch of sparkle.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

A client approached us with a computer generated drawing, & requested a custom island similar to the image.  We built a cage base out of 1” square mild steel tubing.  It had to support a granite countertop as well as a granite slab underneath that is part of the base where the barstools sit.  We welded, ground, & polished the mirror polished stainless steel that cover the ends.  The stove top is a Hibachi style grill with gas eyes and a pop-up ventilation fan. The round discs in the granite countertop raise up to offer outlets and kitchen appliances. The drawers are all power touch.  It’s a pretty state of the art little island.
