rain2shine did this van remodel for a retired couple that travels for music festivals. With a fairly large list of "must-haves" in such a small space, we had to get creative to fit it all and still make it stylish.  We gutted it down to the shell and started from scratch.  We added 18 joists across the roof and down the slanted sides, installed insulation, ran wiring for the TV, AC, lighting and antennae, and boxed in the ceiling.  Then, we did the same down the sides of the van and ran wiring for the light switches, receptacles, battery, converter and inverter and boxed in the walls.  We installed a 10 gallon water tank and pump, faucet and sink, and ran plumbing for an outside water heater.  We also installed a microwave, mini fridge, TV, composting toilet, new AC in the back, Honda generator, antennae, pull-out drawer for storage, a 2 person bike rack, water and electric hookups.  We built the cabinetry, countertop, and steel slat bench that pulls out to a bed.  It was a lot of work and very different from any RV remodel we've done but well worth it to see it all come together.  Below is a list of materials and decor with links for each product.
